AN HOUR-LONG JOURNEY IN COMPLETE DARKNESS IN THE COMPANY OF A VISION-IMPAIRED GUIDE.
The Invisible Exhibition is a special, interactive journey into an invisible world wherein pitch-black you can try to find your way exclusively through touching, hearing and smelling.
If you visit the exhibition you can experience what it is like to live without the sense that provides you with the most information, your eyesight. Moreover, how losing one sense strengthens your other senses!
Trust in us blindly!
In this exhibition blind and vision-impaired guides accompany you in an adventure that will alter your perspective permanently.
In the exhibition, you rely exclusively on your sense of balance, smell and hearing to gain information. In this new situation created by losing your sight, you can experience that despite the difficulties, life can still be beautiful and complete for blind people.
The aim of the exhibition is to bring the world of the blind and the sighted closer to each other and we aspire to teach our visitors through positive experiences how to understand and assist blind people.
This Invisible journey in the company of a blind guide is held in specially furnished, pitch-black rooms. We are equipped with special sound effects and personalized scents for providing our visitors with a truly realistic experience.
In the exhibition, we present different life situations to you so that you can learn how to get by in the busy streets, how to pay for a cup of coffee in a bar and how to recognise the spices and veggies that you need for cooking your meal.
Moreover, in the visible section of the exhibition, our visitors can see and try the tools that blind people use daily.
Allow us to show you how the world changes around you and how you change it!
