What is this?

Imagine that all the lights had gone out…

The Invisible Exhibition Budapest is a unique interactive experience in an invisible world, where in complete darkness participants obtain information exclusively through touching, hearing, smelling and their sense of balance.

Give us your blind trust!

If you join us, you will be able to understand what life is like without the sense that provides you with the most information, to live without your sight.
At this exhibition you will be lead by blind or partially sighted people on a journey that will change your life.

Could an hour of blindness open your eyes? In this new situation caused by the loss of sight you can experience, that despite the difficulties, the world can still be beautiful for the blind and vision impaired. Therefore, the Exhibition brings the world of the blind and the seeing closer to each other as here you can learn to understand them and how to help them.

In this invisible tour you will be lead by blind or partially sighted people through 6 differently furnished scenes. Groups enter the exhibition every 15 minutes.

In these various life situations you can try to cross the road, pay for a cup of coffee in a bar or to choose the right spices for your lunch …

Have you ever seen a talking clock before?
A Braille typewriter?
Or talking scales?

At the visible part of the exhibition we show you the devices and objects which are used by blind people in their daily life. Also, you can try walking with a blindfold and a white cane in a small labyrinth in front of the exhibition.
